ABOUT US
Our Vision
We are a regional non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that every child has an adequate supply of diapers to remain clean, dry and healthy.
Our Mission
To bring public awareness to the crisis in our region about the negative health impacts of diaper shortage. Through partnering with other non-profit agencies, faith-based institutions, social services agencies and childcare providers, we can distribute to families and individuals in need.
1 OUT OF EVERY 3 AMERICAN MOTHERS are struggling to provide diapers for their babies. Infants require up to 12 diapers per day and toddlers close to 8. Diapers are a basic necessity, yet no government subsidies available. Thus, communities across America are uniting in the fight against diaper need to give a voice to this silent crisis.
In the last three years, 5.9 MILLION AMERICAN BABIES were born into poor or low-income families. That means 2,600 DIAPERS are needed per baby, per year – which adds up to almost 15.3 BILLION DIAPERS annually.
- THINK ABOUT having to keep your baby home from daycare Most day care facilities require a full day’s supply of disposable diapers.
